What's Covered

How to Request a Refund

  2. Include your account email address and the reason (optional)
  3. We'll confirm receipt and process your refund immediately
  4. The refund will appear in your account within 5-7 business days

Card Validation & Security

When you subscribe, we validate your card to ensure it's active and valid. This verification happens before your subscription begins:

  • Card check at purchase - Your card is verified to ensure it's valid and active
  • No charge during validation - Verification is done with an authorization hold (not a charge) that's immediately reversed
  • Refunds to original card - All refunds are issued to the same card used for purchase
  • If your card becomes invalid - If your card is closed or expires during the refund window, we'll work with you on alternative refund methods

What's Not Refundable

The 14-day guarantee applies to subscription access only. The following are non-refundable:

  • AI credits purchased separately - Credits are consumable and non-refundable (like any SaaS credits). Unused credits expire after 90 days.
  • Refund requests after 14 days - Requests submitted more than 14 calendar days after the first charge are not eligible for refund
  • Accounts with 15+ content published - If you've published 15 or more posts/carousels through Klyo, refunds may be declined at our discretion
  • Annual plans after 30 days - Annual subscriptions must request refunds within 30 calendar days of the first charge (double the monthly window to account for the longer commitment)
  • Referred credits or promotional credits - Credits earned through referrals or promotional offers are non-refundable
  • Duplicate charges or billing errors - Contact support immediately; we'll issue a credit or refund depending on the circumstance

Cancellation & Billing

Cancel Anytime

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No cancellation fee. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

  • Monthly plans: Cancel any day; access until end of month
  • Annual plans: Cancel any day; access until end of year
  • No prorated refunds for cancellations after 14 days

Billing & Renewal

  • We charge on the same day each month (or year for annual plans)
  • A receipt is sent to your email after every charge
  • Cancellations take effect immediately in your dashboard but access continues through the end of your billing period
  • You will receive a reminder email 7 days before renewal, with a link to cancel if needed

Refund FAQs

Do I need a credit card for the free trial?

No. The 14-day free trial requires no credit card. You only get charged when (and if) you choose to upgrade to a paid plan.

What if I'm charged but don't remember signing up?

Contact us immediately at support@tryklyo.com with proof (screenshot of the charge). We'll investigate and issue a refund or credit if the charge was unauthorized or a mistake.

Can I get a refund after 14 days?

Refunds are only available within 14 calendar days of your first charge. After that, you can cancel your subscription at any time (which stops future charges), but past charges are non-refundable. This is standard across B2B SaaS.

What happens to my data if I refund/cancel?

Your account and data remain accessible for 30 days after cancellation. You can export your data or reactivate at any time. After 30 days, we permanently delete your account and data.

Do referred credits get refunded?

No. Credits earned through referrals or milestone rewards are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash. They can only be used for Klyo services.

What if I switch plans mid-month?

If you upgrade or downgrade mid-month, we'll prorate your balance. You either pay the difference or receive a credit toward your next billing date.

How long does a refund take?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days and appear in your original payment account (bank account, credit card, PayPal, etc.). Sometimes it takes 1-2 additional business days for your bank to post it.

Will I be charged for the card validation?

No. Card validation uses an authorization hold (not a charge) that's immediately reversed. Your card will show a temporary hold that disappears within 24-48 hours. You're only charged for your actual subscription.

Why do you validate cards at subscription time?

Card validation ensures your card is active and valid before we charge you. This prevents failed payments, subscription interruptions, and refund processing issues. It's a one-time security check during signup.

What if my card is declined during validation?

If your card is declined during validation, your subscription won't be activated. You'll see an error message with the decline reason. Please update your payment method and try again, or contact support@tryklyo.com for help.

What if my card is no longer valid during the refund period?

If your card was closed or expired after you subscribed but before you requested a refund, we can still process your refund. Contact support@tryklyo.com with your request and we'll work out an alternative refund method (e.g., bank transfer, credit note).
